SlopeViews At The 15th Annual Ouray Ice Festival

SlopeViews is passionate about climbing and the Ouray Ice Park is one of our favorite places to play. The Ouray Ice Park is home to the world's premier ice climbing competition and gathering and this year the park will host the 15th Annual Ouray Ice Festival, January 7-10th, 2010. The Festival is an international gathering of ice climbers, gear manufacturing exhibitors, and ice climbing voyeurs simply thrilled to watch at a safe distance from the precipitious edges. The festival was first held in January of 1996 and promoted by ice climbing pioneer Jeff Lowe. The festival is now recognized around the world as the premier international gathering of its kind. The Festival isn't just for climbers - there are gear auctions, film and slide show presentations and even a Kids Climbing Wall away from the gorge to get the little tykes started off right. This is one of the most unique and entertaining events in Colorado, held in one of the most beautiful places in the country. Come on down and join SlopeViews for this special event and stay tuned for some amazing immersive video footage from the 15th Annual Ouray Ice Festival.
